The Limerick Late Late Show
Last night the Late Late Show was broadcast from UCH, and without a doubt the Concert Hall looked terrific (and there was definitely a buzz about the place leaving the ERB Friday evening.) Having not watched the programme in a while, i thought the show itself was 'ok'. I’m not entirely sure how successful the show was in promoting Limerick, or was that ever the objective? ..I’m sure there will be many comments and discussions on it in the days to come..

heya - it was a once off event.. don't think the Late Late had ever been televised outside of Dublin before.. check out http://thelimerick.blogspot.com/ for more on the show..
I don't think the aim of the show was to promote Limerick.
It was more of a gimick to promote The Late Late by having it out of Dublin.
Certainly it wasn't a particularly good Late Late. Although I haven't been a regular watcher since well before Gaybo finished; so it could be that they are all like that these days
