last day..

Well last day down at UL for another wee while.. due to my shopping trip (for runners!) i missed lunch and tea with the guys - sorry!
Got the runners, now just have to do the training! New runners every 500miles, i.e. new pair for each marathon! (..should get one under the belt and then think of any others i suppose!)

To all the tea/coffee going gang - thanks very much! Enjoyed the great cups of tea and deep intellectual chats and craic. Thanks.
Heading up north now, see you all soon again hopefully and hope i continue to keep up with the blogging! ;)

one day left..

one day left till i head back up north.. ;( boo hoo hoo
still have loads to do (about 3+yrs work!), but got some work done while being down.. will miss Lim - plus will miss the 10.15 tea break with the WAR grp + co.... but have to go back, students await .. plus the new wind turbine at DkIT! .. impressive?? ..will help with the ESB bill anyway!

Just after printing a paper on "Qualitative Research Methods in Computer Programming Education" - its after coming out all gobbly-gook! ..just what i need!

..but alas Cuddly Dudley is back! ;)

Wednesday's view..

Mid week.. hmm.. finally got my application for the UL Research Ethics Committee completed! yippee! what running and phoning around - just hassle, and all to give my students a questionnaire!!!!! ah well, i'm sure its best to be safe than sorry!
Haven't been so good at updating this blog - hopefully will get into it!
Went swimming this morning, saying that i can't do aerobics or anything with the 'sore toe' - was great to get the swim in before work - reminds me of years ago and 6am training!
2 days left at UL... ;(

My pet brick..

Went to see My Pet Brick Saturday night - was good (think i used the word 'cute' at tea! - opps!) .. was very good - really liked the choice of music, the 2 fellas and Maria were really good.. bravo guys!! Let me know when the next one is on!

Armagh played superbly Saturday - whey hey - Ulster football rules!! ;) .. As Joe Brolly said -looking forward to seeing Tyrone and Armagh in the semi (hopefully Tyrone will do the biz on Saturday!!!)
Great game of Hurling Sunday - terrific to see Galway win - what excitement!!!
